We had to interview the general public again, this time focusing on their day-to-day life to further understand our future users. We sectioned everyone by:

Our group decided to section into smaller groups and interview a variety of people.

Carmen, Zane, Elme, and I interviewed various residents including a market stall owner, a street food vendor, a Grab driver, as well as a restaurant owner.

Elme and I found the task a bit difficult due to language barriers, however thankfully Carmen and Zane helped us out and translated for us.

As we couldn’t speak to them, Elme and I observed them, trying to understand their emotions and how they feel about their day to day life.

Carmen and Zane found the interviews a bit awkward at first, however, they grew to feel comfortable approaching the public.

Once we all got back, our group came together and wrote down our findings.

We then made three characters, that represent each target audience, and we assumed how they would feel based on our previous interviews.

In this particular task we got extremely creative, coming up with names and backstories.

Our final task for today was to collect and combine the data from the interviews, as well as our caricatures, to fully understand our target audience.
